A prominent member of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office – and a favorite of many who met her – has made her last call. K9 “Mika” went 10-42…that’s “off duty”…for the last time on Friday and was turned over to her handler, Deputy Jason Brockway, to enjoy a quieter life with him and his family.
Mika spent 8 years partnering with Brockway, a Narcotics Investigator with the Sheriff’s Office, after having been deployed hundreds of times in the field.
Mika was given an official “goodby” flanked by other K9 and human officers as she left the building for the last time.
