ATLANTA, GA (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Braves 8-5 in Atlanta on Wednesday night.
Blake Perkins led the way at the plate after going three-for-five with three RBI.
Joey Ortiz drove in a pair of runs and Freddy Peralta earned the win after giving up four runs over five innings.
Milwaukee has won back-to-back games to stay first in the NL Central at 64-49.
Pierce Johnson gave up three runs and recorded just one out in relief for the Braves.
Chris Sale struck out 10 batters and gave up two earned runs over four-plus innings as Atlanta remains second in the NL East.
The Braves have lost four straight.
