MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers got silenced by the Atlanta Braves 5-1 on Tuesday night at American Family Field.
Joe Ross got the loss after giving up all five runs on eight hits over five innings.
Gary Sanchez drove in the lone Brewers’ run on a seventh-inning single as Milwaukee has lost three-of-five, but remains first in the NL Central at 61-46.
Bryce Elder earned the win for the Braves after giving up the lone run on five hits over six-plus innings.
Eddie Rosario drove in a pair of runs as Atlanta has won three-of-five to remain second in the NL East at 57-49.
Both teams will try to win the series as it wraps up Wednesday afternoon.
