
Mary Pazaris, 70, of Sheboygan suddenly passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024. She
was born November 9, 1953, in Sheboygan to the late Elfrieda and Frank Pazaris.
Mary graduated from Sheboygan South High School and received a Bachelor's Degree
from Lakeland College in counseling and a Master's degree from the University of
Wisconsin. Mary had a long career as a counselor at Aurora Hospitals (Sheboygan
Memorial and Sheboygan Clinic). She retired recently in 2018. She also taught
counseling courses at Lakeland College. She enjoyed working with her patients and
students.
Mary enjoyed softball and bowling, but in the last 12 years she switched to golf. She
loved to play cribbage and sheepshead with friends at The Senior Center and The
Rightway Club. She also was an artist and owned "Rascal Rehab" where she repainted
garden gnomes and ornaments and sold them at local craft fairs. She would also do
acrylic painting as a hobby.
She shared her life with her extended family of friends in Sheboygan. She often invited
friends over to watch Packer Football and had holiday parties and summer cookouts
with her many friends. She was an active member of the Rightway Club for 40 years.
She enjoyed gardening and making various baked goods with the fruits and
vegetables. She always had dogs or cats as pets throughout her life and did some
volunteer dog walking for elderly friends.
Mary is survived by her brother, James and wife Lori of Concord, Massachusetts,
cousins Richard Schieble and wife Sherri of Sheboygan, Jeff Geissler and his wife
Denise of Phoenix, Arizona. She has one nephew, Mathew Pazaris and his partner
Melissa Smith and their two children, Warren and Alessandra.
A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at
Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home & Crematory, 1535 S. 12 th St., Sheboygan. (Please use
Georgia Ave. to access 12 th St.). Entombment will take place at the Lutheran Cemetery
Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, August 3,
2024, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Sheboygan Humane Society and
Sheboygan Rightway Club.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the ER at Aurora Memorial
Hospital and the EMS team.
