MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers took the series opener from the Atlanta Braves by the final of 8-3 from American Family Field on Monday night.
Willy Adames slugged a three-run homer while Rhys Hoskins and Jackson Chourio also went deep.
Hoby Milner earned the win in relief as Milwaukee has won back-to-back games to remain first in the NL Central at 61-45.
For Atlanta, Marcell Ozuna, Sean Murphy and Orlando Arcia slugged solo homers.
Jesse Chavez got the loss after giving up three runs in relief as Atlanta has lost three-of-five to remain second in the NL East at 56-49.
The Brewers and Braves will play game-two of the series Tuesday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 6:35.
