CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers shut out the Chicago Cubs 1-0 to take game-two of the series at Wrigley Field on Tuesday night.
Brice Turang singled-home Jake Bauers in the eighth inning for the game’s only run.
Elvis Peguero earned the win in relief, while Trevor Megill notched his 20th save of the season.
Milwaukee has won four of its last five to remain first in the NL Central at 58-43.
Jameson Taillon got the loss after giving up the lone run on four hits over seven-plus innings.
Nico Hoerner recorded a pair of hits for Chicago, which has lost three of five games to stay fourth in the division at 49-54.
