MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Vice President Kamala Harris says she’s fighting against a far right Conservative plan for the county as she takes over the Democratic presidential race.
Harris made a stop in West Allis on Tuesday, her first appearance since President Joe Biden stepped aside and endorsed her.
“I am so very honored and I pledge to you I will spend the coming weeks continuing to unite our party so that we are ready to win in November,” said Harris.
Harris was introduced by Democratic US Senator Tammy Baldwin and Governor Tony Evers, both of whom have endorsed her, as have a majority of the state’s delegates before next month’s Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Harris says she’s secured enough delegates to get the nomination.
