
Dale Scott Damrow, age 61, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday,
July 7, surrounded by his family. Dale was born November 6, 1962, in Sheboygan, WI, to his
late father Glenn, and mother Vernetta (Schuh) Damrow. Dale was a plumbing designer and
was employed by AECOM; he retired from Christopher Kidd and Associates in 2023. On
September 19, 1987, Dale married the love of his life, Sharon.
Dale participated in many recreational activities. He played softball for 29 years until his cancer
diagnosis. Dale was a huge racing fan, which started in his late teens with flat-track three-
wheeler racing. After 10 years of participating in motocross and three-wheeler racing, he started
racing stock cars at Plymouth and Manitowoc with his brother for 14 years. He also enjoyed
miniature bowling, golfing, disc golf, and skiing/snowboarding with his family.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Sharon (Bergemann) Damrow; children Jessica
of Salem Lakes, WI, Derek (significant other Kristen Gawronski) of Beloit, WI, and Matthew of
Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by his mother Vernetta, siblings Michael (Cynthia)
Damrow, Jeffery (Dawn) Damrow, all of Sheboygan, WI, and Karen (Gary) Kummerow of
Elkhart Lake, as well as many friends and family members who loved him dearly.
Dale is preceded in death by his father, Glenn, and brother Don.
A celebration of Dale’s wonderful life will be held on Friday July 12, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until
the time of service at 12:00 noon at Reinbold Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12 th Street
Sheboygan.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Matthew and his staff for all the
wonderful care and support they have given Dale, Dr. Pasquini, and the Froedtert Hospital
Cancer Center for the compassion they showed Dale during his treatments. The family would
also like to thank Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for supporting and caring to ensure
Dale was comfortable. Lastly, the family wants to give a very special thank you to all the unsung
heroes who have participated in countless clinical trials to develop the medications that have
helped prolong Dale’s life.
