Janet Rosemary Hueppchen, 71, of Sheboygan, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024,
at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Janet was born on February 21, 1953, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan to Gerald
and Deloris (Klemme) Sippel. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School.
Janet earned her associates degree from NWTC in Green Bay and then worked as a
computer programmer for many years.
In 1998, Janet suffered a traumatic brain injury after a devastating accident. After years
of intensive rehabilitation, she regained her independence, of which she so cherished.
Her never-ending strength, resiliency and joyous attitude served as inspiration for
everyone who knew her.
In recent years, Janet enjoyed her job at Walmart in Sheboygan. She made friends
with so many coworkers and customers. Her favorite pastime was watching her
beloved birds visit the many bird feeders she kept filled to the brim. She treasured her
many close family and friends and they all knew to expect a special birthday card
emblazoned with colorful stickers to arrive in the mail.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Kevin) Fischer of Portland, Oregon; son,
Gary (fiancé Tracy) Hueppchen of Milwaukee; granddaughter, Sam; grandson,
Sullivan; sisters, Karen (Jim) Rooker of Sheboygan Falls, Joan (Scott) Kuehn of
Sheboygan; brothers, Jerry (special friend Kathy Hoffman) Sippel of Cascade, Allen
(Faye) Sippel of Sheboygan, Keith (Luann) Sippel of Town of Winchester. She is
further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Deloris (Klemme) Sippel and
sister, Barb Beuhler Binversie.
A private family memorial service will be held.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls
on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 11:00am-1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Janet’s name to Sharon S. Richardson
Community Hospice.
