Following a beautiful weekend, the workweek might mean more stormy weather in Sheboygan and much of Wisconsin. Rain and thunderstorms are likely much of today, but if any strong storms develop they’d likely happen before 4 p.m. with the greatest threats being gusty winds and possible large hail.
Greater attention is being put on Tuesday as a 2-in-5 risk of severe weather was placed in eastern Wisconsin, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Depending on how much energy is spent by storms in the morning, widespread severe weather might occur. All types of severe weather, including tornadoes, could be considered on Tuesday, but the enhanced risk, a 3-in-5 chance, is most likely west of I-39/90.
With rains possibly exceeding an inch-and-a-half, depending on storms, Wednesday’s dry weather should provide a welcome chance to catch up on outdoor work.
