Road crews will be busy doing maintenance on several Sheboygan County highways this week. The first project being conducted by the Wisconsin DOT has crews scheduled to be filling cracks in the road surface in both directions of Highway 67 between County Highway “MM” and the Manitowoc County line between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. today, and flagging operations will be controlling traffic.
Attention turns to I-43 as sweeping operations will cover both north and southbound lanes for the entire length between the Manitowoc and Ozaukee County lines both Tuesday, May 21st and Wednesday the 22nd between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. You can expect moving lane closures during those repairs.
Also, Highway 23 is scheduled for sweeping in both directions between Taylor Drive in Sheboygan and the Fond du Lac County line. That will be done both Wednesday and Thursday between 6 and 4. Again, moving lane closures will be used to conduct traffic safely through the work zone.
