The search for the person that will replace Sheboygan County Sheriff, Cory Roeseler, has officially begun. Governor Tony Evers put out his notice of application on Thursday, looking to fill the position Roeseler will leave with his retirement effective on June 3rd, or one month from Friday. The appointee of the Governor will serve the remainder of Roeseler’s term, which expires in January of 2027.
To apply, applicants are asked to complete the “Register of Deeds, Coroner, and Sheriff’ application form that can be found on the “Apply to Serve” page on Governor Evers’ website (www.evers.wi.gov). Applicati
