
Dolores C. Miller, age 95, of Plymouth, WI, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024 with her family by
her side.
She was born on July 11, 1928 in Port Washington, WI, a daughter of the late Eli and Olive (Gruber)
Bintzler.
Dolores graduated from Random Lake High School in 1946. On August 14, 1948, she married Merlin L.
Miller at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Random Lake. Merlin preceded her in death on January 8, 2023.
She worked for the Phone Company in Random Lake, the Wade House in Greenbush and retired from
Knowles Manufacturing.
Dolores was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth, Christian Mothers, and the
Haslee-Doebert-Schmidt American Legion Auxiliary #261 in Greenbush.
She enjoyed fishing, golfing, painting, and spending time at the cottage up north with family and friends.
Survivors include her three children: Connie (Pat) Atkinson of Glenbeulah, Sandy (Steve) Kallenberg of
Plymouth and Kathy (Herb) Kohlmann of Glenbeulah; Five grandchildren: Brian (Bonnie) Atkinson of
Sussex, Cheryl (Randy) Raymond of Sussex, Scott Kallenberg of Sheboygan, Chad Kohlmann of Cascade
and Sarah Kohlmann of Miami, FL;11 Great Grandchildren; sister: Lillian (Lee) Kappel of Plymouth;
brother-in-law: William (Marilyn) Miller of Random Lake; and sisters-in-law: Pearl Miller of Random Lake
and Beverly Miller of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband: Merlin; One grandson: Todd Kallenberg; One great
granddaughter: Maria Atkinson; Four siblings: Lloyd (Mamie) Bintzler, Peggy (Leroy) Schroeder, Lorraine
(Norb) Gonwa and Diane (Merlin) Hamman; Four brothers-in-law: Harold, James, Roy and Gilbert
(Marge) Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday (May 3) at 12:30 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic
Church in Plymouth. Father Subi Thomas, Pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation has taken place
and inurnment will be in St. Thomas Aquinas South Cemetery in Greenbush.
Visitation will be held at CHURCH on Friday (May 3) from 11:30 A.M. until the time of Mass.
