CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) – Milwaukee Brewers pitchers combined to throw nine scoreless innings as they clipped the White Sox 1-0 in Chicago on Wednesday night. Adrian Houser threw seven scoreless innings to earn the win for Milwaukee. Josh Hader closed things out for his second save.
Eric Sogard drove in the lone run for the Brewers, who snapped a two-game slide.
Danny Mendick went 3-for-3 for the White Sox. Dallas Keuchel only gave up one run over seven innings and struck out eight, but took the loss for Chicago as the White Sox had a six-game win streak snapped.
