A threat received by Sheboygan’s Farnsworth Middle School prompted cancellation of classes and a track meet that was scheduled on Tuesday.
An announcement was posted on facebook around 10 a.m. and parents were notified of the actions taken in response to a social media post threatening violence to the school. Similar threats have been received over the past week at several schools in far-reaching districts in Wisconsin as well as other states. There was no detail given that could relate this incident to those experienced elsewhere.
