An Oshkosh man’s long criminal history was lengthened again after a stop last week in Fond du Lac County. The 35-year-old, who was not named, had two juvenile passengers with him when he was stopped for speeding on I-41 by a Sheriff’s Deputy, who also spotted drug paraphernalia in plain sight, initiating a closer look . The ensuing search revealed five ounces of crack cocaine near the two children, along with a jar of marijuana, a significant amount of cash, and the driver was also found to be intoxicated.
The man was arrested for possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of THC-second offense, contributing to neglect of children-exposure to drugs, and with OWI-first offense with an enhancer for having a passenger under the age of 16. The juveniles were released to the custody of a responsible adult while the man awaits his court appearance in the Fond du Lac County Jail.
