Eileen Dreczka (Ernewein), lost her courageous battle with an infection and Covid, on top of Heart
Disease. She peacefully passed from her earthly body into the Heavenly Arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Born on July 2, 1963, in Elmira, New York to her mother Beverly Nosowicz ( Levey ) and her late father
James Ernewein.
Eileen graduated from Lackawanna Senior High School in 1983 and subsequently had extensive training
in sales and management. She graduated with her “Heart Sisters” and began educating and advocating
in a leadership role with Women Heart National Coalition as she was passionate about women’s heart
disease. She advocated for other women by going to Washington D.C. and pounding on Congressmens
doors in order to be heard about the need for research and development regarding women and heart
disease. She spoke at a Congressional Press Briefing with Representative Debbie Dingel (Michigan) about
women with heart disease.
Eileen loved family and that was most important to her. Most of her friends have turned into family.
Eileen’s family has grown immensely over her lifetime. She had a very strong work ethic and morality.
She was a “Giver” and gave what she had to those in need and generous of her time with others. She
always wanted to make sure everyone was loved by treating them with small gifts and treats.
Eileen started working in the Buffalo area and then moved to Dayton, Ohio where she met such good
friends after 9 years. Eileen moved back to Buffalo and worked as a Cosmetic Counter Manager where
she excelled, while producing sales in the millions.
Eileen met the love of her life in 2001 at a mutual friend’s wedding. They rekindled their love for one
another when they were first sweethearts at age 16. They were united in marriage on June 25, 2005,
with many family and friends in attendance. She had always stated that she would give him the Sun,
Moon and Stars to him forever. Eileen created many new life long family relationships while in
Sheboygan, Wi. that will dearly miss her. Eileen loved life to the fullest and often said “Push, Pull, Drag
or Tow me, because we are going! She never wanted to let her heart disease define her life. She had
often said that she did not want anyone to cry but to Celebrate Her Life with a Big Party. Amen!
