A Saturday morning conflict resulted in one person hospitalized, and another arrested as the suspect. The Sheboygan Police Department said that they were called to the 900 block of Huron Avenue at 10:17 a.m. with the report of someone having been stabbed. Arriving officers found both persons involved in the incident, one with several stab wounds. The victim was taken by Sheboygan Fire Department rescuers to a local hospital. The injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.
The suspect in the incident, a 38-year-old Sheboygan man, was arrested and jailed, awaiting issuance of charges by the District Attorney’s Office of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.
Police say that the two individuals knew each other, and that the stabbing was not random. They report that the incident was isolated and there is no danger to the public.
