Two persons have been arrested in connection to an overdose death in Kewaskum. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports that along with the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force and the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, a 26-year-old Racine man had been arrested the day after the fatal overdose occurred on November 9th. He remains in the Washington County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond, and is due to be arraigned in court today. A second person was arrested on Monday afternoon. The 25-year-old man, also from Racine, had his bond hearing yesterday. Both men now face charges for delivery of fentanyl and recklessly endangering safety, with additional charges possible down the road.
Investigators say the two allegedly drove from Racine to Kewaskum to sell fentanyl to the victim on the night of the overdose…officials claim that followed additional sales to the victim several days earlier.
