Ronald J. Elmergreen, 93, of Sheboygan, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at St.
Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay.
Ronald was born September 23, 1930 in Sheboygan to the late Caroline and Allen J.
Elmergreen Sr. On June 28, 1968, he married Dora Hagmeyer in Stuttgart-Vaihingen,
Germany. Ronald served in the US Army from 1948 through 1971, serving approximately 20
years overseas including service in Germany, Japan, Korea and Vietnam. He was employed at
American Orthodontics in Sheboygan from 1972 and retiring in 1993 as a purchasing agent.
Ron is survived by his wife Dora of 55 years, sister Virginia (Don Sr.) Zastrow of Sheboygan and
Bradenton, FL, brother Kenneth Elmergreen of Sussex, and many nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-son Dieter Hagmeyer,
brothers Allen Jr. and Richard.
Following Ronald’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private close family service will be
held at a later date.
