Another multi-county chase over the weekend resulted in another drug trafficker in jail in Fond du Lac County. The pursuit began a little after 4 a.m. on Saturday with a request to the Sheriff’s Office for assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol, which was trying to stop a vehicle on Northbound I-41 near Wisconsin Highway 67. The chase continued eastward on 67 into Fond du Lac County where the State Patrol turned things over to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff.
A Sheriff’s deputy caught sight of the vehicle on County Highway “K” and attempted a stop, but the suspect again sped away, going westbound into the Township of Eden where the driver left the road and circled a residence several times before coming to a stop.
That driver was arrested and now faces two counts of felony eluding, possession with intent to deliver THC, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.
