Wisconsin Ag Secretary, Randy Romanski just announced that they’re making a Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council. The council will be made up of 15 Wisconsin high school seniors from all over the state who have an interest in the industry.
The whole point of the council is to get the younger generation excited about ag, teach them more about state government, and the role DATCP plays in Wisconsin agriculture.
Students that are chosen to be a part of the council will serve a one-year term. In order to apply, you have to submit a resume, an essay, a one-minute video, a letter of recommendation, and fill out the application here.
Applications will be accepted until August 21st.
