Sheboygan’s Jackson Elementary School was put on lockdown for about an hour yesterday while Police looked for a suspect.
The school sent out an email to parents at around 11:40 a.m. informing them that outdoor access was being restricted. This follows a chase where a suspect crashed a vehicle after a pursuit near Weeden Creek Road and South 12th Street. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. The lockdown was lifted shortly before 1pm.
