(WHBL) – The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will hold a virtual meeting on Thursday to decide if it will reconsider some major changes to antlerless deer harvest quotas made during its June 24th meeting.
Those changes removed Grant and Marquette Counties from those hosting a holiday hunt, and made major reductions to quotas in mostly northern counties. Many of those counties would see at least 50% reductions in deer permits, and there would be a zero quota in the Northern Forest portions of Marinette and Oconto Counties.
If the reconsideration motion passes on Thursday, then the Board’s June 24th decision will be reconsidered.
