(WHBL) – A 66 year old Sheboygan man is in the hospital, and there’s a search for whoever caused a 5-car crash on Highway 23 near Fond du Lac Saturday around noon.
The Fond du Lac Sheriff’s Department says a driver heading east was trying to pass several cars – and moved back into traffic to avoid an oncoming pickup truck. The passing vehicle hit another car, causing several others to crash as well.
Witnesses say the driver of the at-fault vehicle took off after the crash. They’re looking for a white Malibu or Impala. Anyone with information has been asked to call the authorities.
