More than $2.3 million to be used in Sheboygan County for local roads during the fourth quarter has been received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
Governor Evers along with the DOT announced statewide payments on Wednesday, more than $134 million overall. Of that, Sheboygan County along with its townships, villages and cities will receive $2,300,616.21.
According to Wednesday’s announcement, total funding for all local programs makes up almost one-third of the state transportation budget.
