New studies out of Augusta University show CBD could help out COVID-19 patients.
CBD is made from hemp and is used in a variety of products to help with stress management, anxiety, and other issues. Some people get confused, but hemp is NOT marijuana. A hemp plant is a cannabis plant that contains less than 0.3% THC. There’s no way you can get high from a hemp plant or CBD.
Over the pandemic, CBD retailers are seeing a spike in sales. One reason for that could be that research says CBD has anti-inflammatory effects. This means that it could help take some of the stress and pain off of the lungs of COVID-19 patients.
Is CBD the answer to curing the virus? No.
But, it could at least give some relief to those who have the virus.
