Erin K. Beesley, of Sheboygan, passed away suddenly Saturday morning, September 9, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. She was 53 years old.
Erin was born December 22, 1969, in Racine, the youngest child of Thomas and Donna (Flaherty) Beesley. She attended school in Billings, MT, graduating from Skyview High School in 1989. She returned to Wisconsin where she lived in Waukesha for 20 years, before moving to Sheboygan in 2014.
While in Waukesha, Erin worked for many years in housekeeping at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. While living in Sheboygan, she volunteered at Mead Public Library, St. Nicholas Hospital, and Aurora Hospital.
Erin loved knitting and crocheting and was a member of the local knitting club. She also loved cats and dogs, and enjoyed reading, socializing with friends, and spending time with her cat Muffin.
Everyone who met Erin thought she was the sweetest and most precious person, and they were right. Her friendship was valued and cherished by many.
Erin is survived by her parents Thomas and Donna Beesley of Tea, SD, and her siblings: Dixie (Joseph) Bernstein of Oostburg, Lynn Buckta of Cartersville, GA, Tony Beesley of Tea, SD, Mark (Lisa) Beesley of Parker, CO, Chris (Alpha) Beesley of Box Elder, SD and Shane (Reese) Beesley of Shepherd, MT. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends including Robert and Susan Ashton of Waukesha and Brian Adams of Sheboygan.
A Memorial Service celebrating Erin’s life will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Wenig Funeral Home, 108 Center Ave. in Oostburg. All are welcome to view a livestream of Erin’s service at www.wenigfh.com on her obituary page. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on from 12:30-1:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Erin’s name to the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
