MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers crushed the Miami Marlins 12-0 in their series opener at American Family Field on Monday night.
Brandon Woodruff threw a complete-game shutout and struck out seven batters while giving up six hits and one walk.
Willy Adames went three-for-four with four RBI and three runs scored while Mark Canha went deep in the first inning.
The Brew Crew improved to 80-63 and are still first in the NL Central, maintaining a three game lead over the Chicago Cubs.
