Glenn Martch

Glenn Timothy Martch, age 75, of Athelstane, WI (formerly of Cascade) passed away on August 26,
2023.
He was born in Plymouth, WI on May 5, 1948, a son of the late Charles and Erna (Bluhm) Martch, and
attended Kewaskum schools. After graduation, he joined the United States Army, 7 th Artillery, and was
stationed in Germany.
On July 14, 1973, Glenn married Linda Fischer at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Cascade and he worked at
for various trucking companies before working for the Sheboygan County Highway Dept. until
retirement.
Glenn was a member of the Cascade Fire Dept., Cascade American Legion, and Cascade Lions Club.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. After retirement, he really enjoyed up
north life with family and friends.
Survivors include: Children: Gerald Martch of Waldo and Susanne (Brandon) Scheffen of Cascade;
Sisters: Barbara (David) Hau of St. Cloud and Judy (Gerald) Odekirk of Plymouth; Brother, Peter Martch
of Plymouth; Sisters-in-law: Kathy (Gordon) Pollari of FL, Donna (Thomas) Maki of West Bend, Beverly
(Ronald) Hirschmann of West Bend, and Jill (Mark) Speirs of Kewaskum; Brothers-in-law: Joseph Fischer
of Cascade, Charles Fischer of Fond du Lac, and Lester Fischer of Batavia; As well as many nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
Glenn was preceded in death by: His wife, Linda; His parents; Parents-in-law, Lester and Maryann
Fischer; Niece, Tanya Maki; and Sister-in-law, Carol Martch
Funeral Services will be held on Friday (September 1, 2023) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
Visitation will take place from 3:00-6:00pm, with a prayer service and military rites to follow at 6:00pm.
A celebration of Glenn’s life will be held the next day, Saturday (September 2, 2023), beginning at 3:00
PM at the Cascade Fire Dept.
