Shots were fired, but no injuries were reported from an incident that remains under investigation by the Sheboygan Police Department.
Several calls reporting a man firing a weapon were received on Sunday evening. The man behind the gun retreated into the home on North 16th Street south of Erie Avenue once officers arrived. Officers surrounded the home and were able to convince the man, who appeared to be intoxicated, to leave the residence and surrender. He was taken into custody and charges were referred to the DA’s office.
Police interviewed witnesses who confirmed that multiple rounds were fired by the man, and several firearms were recovered from the home.
