(WHBL) – According to the online publication Wisconsin Golf, the Bull at Pinehurst Farms will reopen for public play this Thursday, July 23rd.
The Bull was purchased in June by Randy Groth and John Dunfee after bankruptcy and several other failed attempts to purchase placed a big question mark on the future. but the course and its facilities are now in final preparation for operations.
According to Wisconsin Golf, grounds crews were to have cut holes in the greens over the weekend, and the new owners are planning to play the course today.
Hiring new staff and solving other issues are still underway, but selection of a superintendent is already done as former super Pat Shaw has been re-hired to manage the operation.
The Bull was purchased last month for about $2.4 million and had been idle since closing last season. A grand reopening is anticipated sometime next month.
