John Howard Levezow was welcomed by the Lord into eternal rest on August 18th, 2023. John was born in Milwaukee, WI on March 20th, 1944, to Anna Marie and Howard John Levezow during WWII, while Howard was overseas. John grew up in “the flats,” of Sheboygan and attended Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic School, Central and South High School. John married Sheila Jeske at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on May 2nd 1970, where they have been faithful members together since that day. He worked at Paper Box & Specialty for 45 years.
John enjoyed playing softball and cards, bowling, golfing, fishing, hunting, tending bar, and spent countless hours watching his daughters on the field and on the court. He could often be found manning a grill, reading a murder mystery or talking about sports and events in years passed.
John is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Sheila, their daughters, Jessica (Kyle) Walford, Alexia (Donald II) Cordle, and Emily (Ben) Nickel. Grandchildren include Savannah Jane (Riley) Printz, Chloe Walford, Calla Rae and Zachary John Nickel, and great-granddaughter, Stella Printz. Also survived by his brother, Bob (Gretchen) Levezow; sister, Christina Zawatzke; sisters-in-law, Kathy D’Imperio, Cheryl (Barry) Lieffring; brother-in-law, Mark (Kathy) Jeske as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbor family- the Burtards, and “old pal,” Frank Scherer. John was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Florian and Mildred Jeske, beloved brother Bill Levezow, brother-in-law Jim D’Imperio, nephew, Jason Oldenburg and great-nephew, Samuel Groth.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan and will continue on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1121 Georgia Ave., Sheboygan, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

The family would like to thank Mary and Melissa from Sharon Richardson Hospice for their love and care, and Pastor Niles for support and spiritual care in home these past months.
