LOS ANGELES, CA (WHBL) – Clayton Kershaw picked up his 11th win on the mound as the Dodgers beat the Milwaukee Brewers 7-1 in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
Kershaw allowed three hits and one run over five innings of work. The Dodgers’ bullpen surrendered no hits though the final four frames.
Miguel Rojas and Chris Taylor both homered as Los Angeles won its 10th straight game. Will Smith also plated two runs to help the Dodgers improve to 73-46.
Wade Miley was charged the loss after giving up four runs, three earned, through five innings. Mark Canha hit a solo home run as Milwaukee dropped to 65-56. The Brewers have a two and a half game lead over both the Reds and Cubs in the NL Central.
The Brewers and Dodger will wrap up their series Thursday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 8:35.
