Eugene Leon “Geno” Littlefield, age 90, of Plymouth, WI, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023 at
Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility with his wife and son by his side.
He was born on September 1, 1932 in Weyauwega, WI, a son of the late Earl Sr. and Mildred
(Humphrey) Littlefield.
Gene graduated from Glenbeulah High School in 1951. He served in the United States Army from 1952-
1955 during the Korean War.
On May 24, 1958, he married Georgine Zimmermann at Salem E & R Church in Plymouth.
He worked at Tecumseh for 40 years retiring in 1990 and Sargento Foods for 54 years retiring in 2019.
Gene was a member of Salem UCC and Quit Qui OC Golf League. He enjoyed golfing, bird watching
especially cardinals, listening to the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Green Bay Packers, and
spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Georgine; two sons, Gary (Susan) Littlefield and Mark Littlefield; four
daughters, Diane Mueller, Nancy (Charles) Hellmer, Cheryl Littlefield, Jane (Vern) Habeck; eight
grandchildren, Rene Pennell, Matthew Pennell, Sean Littlefield, Kyanne Littlefield, Cassandra Littlefield,
Jade Littlefield, Ryan Mueller, Ava Littlefield; step-great-grandchild, Brianne Pennell; brother, Robert
(Audrey) Littlefield; sister-in-law, Eunice Littlefield; and many cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Greg Littlefield; brothers, Frank, Dick (Jeanice), Earl Jr.
(Adeline), and Bob Littlefield; sister, Bea (LaVern) Barta; and sisters-in-law, Loretta (Milton) Gumm and
Ramelda (Leslie) Wunsch.
Following Gene’s wishes, private family services will be held. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in
Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Gene’s name.
