MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Brewers dropped their series against the Atlanta Braves after blowing a late lead in the finale from Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon.
The Brew Crew held a 2-1 advantage in the eighth inning until Ozzie Albies crushed a three-run homer to give Atlanta a 4-2 lead.
Raisel Iglesias struck out the side in the ninth inning to complete the comeback for Atlanta, which took two of three from the Brewers.
Elvis Peguero took the loss for the Brewers, which holds a half-game over the Reds for first place in the NL Central.
Milwaukee welcomes the second-place Cincinnati Reds to American Family Field for game one of a three-game series Monday night.
