FLUSHING, NY (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers got a great pitching performance from their bullpen in a 5-2 victory over the Mets in Flushing on Wednesday night.
Bryse Wilson earned the win after pitching an inning-and-two-thirds of scoreless relief. Four other bullpen arms combined to give up just two more hits as Devin Williams notched his 15th save of the season.
Christian Yelich and Jesse Winker each drove in a pair of runs for Milwaukee, which improved to 42-38. The Brew Crew are in second place in the NL Central, a half-game behind the division leading Cincinnati Reds.
Tommy Pham slugged a home run for New York, which fell to 36-44.
