MOSINEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — American Airlines is adding a third daily flight from Central Wisconsin Airport to Chicago O’Hare.
CWA airport director Brian Grefe says it makes up some of the sting from Delta canceling all traffic to Mosinee.
“They’ve seen tremendous demand in the market,” said Grefe. “All their flights have been nearly full almost all year so they saw the opportunity and are now adding that third flight back into our schedule.”
Grefe says the new flight will be starting in July.
He’s also hoping to bring a budget airline to Mosinee to get traffic to vacation destinations.
