MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers lost their sixth game in a row on Wednesday afternoon, losing to the Minnesota Twins 4-2 at Target Field in Minneapolis.
The Twins scored all four runs in the bottom of the third inning. Carlos Correa tied the game at two with a two-run triple, and Trevor Larnach gave Minnesota the lead with an RBI double. Bailey Ober earned his fourth win after striking out seven and giving up two runs in six innings, and Griffin Jax picked up his first save.
With the win, the Twins completed the two-game sweep of the Brewers.
Brian Anderson and Luis Urias both went deep for the Crew in the losing effort, and Colin Rea was charged with his fourth loss after surrendering four runs in five innings.
The Brewers have Thursday off, then will host the NL Central-leading Pittsburgh Pirates at American Family Field for a three-game weekend series beginning Friday night. Pittsburgh is a game ahead of Milwaukee in the division.
