SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – We saw 50% voter turnout in Sheboygan County for the Spring Elections that were held April 7. The ballots were counted Monday night after all of the absentee ballots were collected.
Nancy Niebauer and Aileen Dahlke earned themselves seats on the Cedar Grove/Ozaukee School board, incumbents Daniel Grunewald and Corynn Feldmann retained their roles as Glenbeulah Trustees. Sharon Reilly and Tarra Mikolyzk beat out Patrick Johsnon for seats on the Kohler School board. In Random Lake Reine Rathke and Charles Mueller saw the most votes for the two seats on the school board.
In Oostburg, Jim Swart, Terry Lemkuil, and Jack Stokdyk earned the 3 open seats on the school board – where voters also approved a $7.5 million referendum for a new addition at the elementary school.
In the races for Sheboygan City Council: Incumbent Todd Wolf will keep his seat, beating his challenger Travis Gross for the District 2 seat. Incumbent Dean Dekker will hold onto his seat in District 6, beating his challenge Mark Hermann. There were 6 districts up for Sheboygan County Supervisor, where George Kulow, Fran Damp, Jacob Immel, Brian Hoffman, and William Goehring each earned spots in their respective districts. Sheboygan Falls Mayor Randy Meyer will continue to serve, beating out challenger Tom Bigler.
