If you watched the Tony Awards on Sunday, you may have heard the advice to either go to New York to see a Broadway show in the Big Apple, or else attend one of the shows when it tours a nearby city. On Monday, almost like clockwork, Sheboygan’s Weill Center announced that you won’t have to travel far at all, as three Broadway productions have been scheduled there beginning in December.
Executive Director of the Weill Center, Katy Glodowsky, said that they were thrilled to be able to “showcase our theater to these national tours, and will use this momentum to continue to build and diversify our programming in future seasons.”
Those shows will be “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical” on Sunday, December 17th; “Jesus Christ Superstar” on Thursday, February 15th next year, which will be part of a 50th Anniversary new production tour; and finally “Little Women” on Friday, May 3rd, 2024.
Tickets are now in pre-sale to members only, and sales to the general public begin on Thursday. You can learn more by visiting weillcenter.com.
