Gary A.
Nelson, age 63, of Plymouth, WI, passed away on Friday, (Jan. 12, 2018) at
Aurora Medical Center in Grafton due to an extended illness.
He was born
on July 1, 1954 in New Ulm, MN, a son of Delores (Kedding) Nelson and the late
Donald Nelson.
Gary
graduated from Hamilton High School in Milwaukee in 1972.
On December
26, 2000 he married Joyce Schladweiler at Jackson Park Church in Milwaukee.
Gary was a
proud Teamster of Local 200 that worked at VRC Freight (formerly known as
Roadway Express) for 35 years.
He enjoyed
fishing, camping, hunting, and spending time with family.
Survivors include:

Gar (Mara) Nelson, Gab (Gina) Nelson, Russ Nelson, Andrea (Bob) Wright
and Jake (Kati) Nelson; Seven Grandchildren; Three Step Children: Jeremy (Sarah) Lawrenz, Christopher
(Ashleigh) Lawrenz, Brian (Megan) Lawrenz; 13 Step Grandchildren; One Brother:
Steve Nelson and One Sister: Connie (Ed)
Przyczkowski.
Also
survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was
preceded in death by his father: Donald and his Grandparents.
Memorial
Services will be held on Thursday (January 18, 2018) at 5:30 P.M. at the Suchon
Funeral Home
in Plymouth. Rev. Casey Sugden, pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Plymouth will
officiate.
Visitation
will be held at Suchon Funeral Home on Thursday (Jan. 18) from 4:00 P.M. until
the time of services.
A memorial
fund is being established in Gary’s name.
