Wendie Lee Cudworth, age 62, of Elkhart Lake, WI, passed
away unexpectedly on Monday (January 29, 2018) at Holy Family Medical Center in
Manitowoc.
She was born on June 4, 1955 in Plymouth, WI, a daughter
of the late Glenn and Doris (Speckmann) Williamson.
Wendie attended Plymouth grade schools and graduated from
Plymouth High School in 1973.
She was a homemaker for many years, and later worked at
Kohler Company from 1996-2009.
Following her employment at Kohler Company, she was very
proud to receive a degree as a CNA from LTC.
As a CNA, she worked at Sunny Ridge, Harvest Home, and
Rocky Knoll, retiring in March 2017.
On September 20, 1975, she married Raymond Cudworth at
St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart
Lake, where she served on the altar guild and helped take care of the
flowerbeds at Church.
Wendie loved running and exercising, and belonged to the
Silver Sneakers exercise group at Generations.
She also enjoyed gardening, quilting, feeding the birds,
and spending time with her loving family, especially her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband: Raymond of Elkhart Lake;
Two daughters: Karen (Jim) Vasconi of Howards Grove, Brenda Cudworth of
Sheboygan Falls; Two grandchildren: Amanda and Jacob Vasconi; One sister: Vicki
(Glenn) Cudworth of Howards Grove; Nephew: Brian Cudworth of Sheboygan; and
Niece: Sarah (Ed) Brown of South Milwaukee.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday (February 2,
2018) at 7:00 P.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake. Rev. Peter
Peitsch, Pastor of the Church will officiate.
Visitation will take place at CHURCH on Friday (Feb. 2)
from 5:00 P.M. until the time of services.
Inurnment will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established
in Wendie’s name.
