Dr. Robert A. Robert, 90, of Sheboygan, passed away on
Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in
Sheboygan Falls. He was born October 14,
1927 in Sheboygan to Arthur and Adele (Meves) Keller. Bob graduated from Kohler High School with
the Class of 1946. He continued his
education at the University of Wisconsin Madison receiving his BS in Organic
Chemistry in 1951, he then worked as an organic chemist at Merck Pharmaceutical
prior to attending medical school. On February 23, 1957 he was united in
marriage to Frances Schmidt. In 1958 Bob
graduated from University of Wisconsin Madison Medical School.
Bob was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, he enjoyed
singing with the choir. He was a charter
member of the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Bob worked at the Sheboygan Clinic until
his retirement on December 31, 1990.
Following his retirement, he enjoyed volunteering at St. Nicholas
Hospital.
Bob was an avid bicyclist and loved to travel especially by train.
Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Fran, and his
children; John (Mary) Keller, Paul Keller, and Mary (Tim) Corkell. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018
at 11:30AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Ave., Sheboygan with
Pastor John Berg officiating. Burial
will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February
15, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the CHURCH.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gathering
Place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls in Bob’s name.
