M Darlene Osieczanek, age 88, formerly of West Bend, WI, passed
away on Tuesday evening, February 27, 2018 at Village Point Commons in Grafton,
WI, where she had been a resident for the past 7 months.
She was born on February 24th, 1930 in Valders, WI, daughter
of the late C.E. and Mary (Brennan) Bray.
Darlene attended Valders grade schools and graduated from Valders
High School in 1948. She later attended
the University of Wisconsin for one year.
On October 17, 1953, she married John Bernard Osieczanek at
St. Mary Catholic Church in Clark Mills, WI.
He preceded her in death on July 16, 2001.
Darlene was employed as a Special Education Aide for the
Plymouth School District for 20 years retiring in 1997.
She was a former member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in
West Bend, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Darlene enjoyed reading, playing cards (especially Bridge),
and spending time with her loving family.
Survivors include: Six children: Debra Priestley of Port
Washington, WI, Thomas (Mary) Osieczanek of Anderson, SC, JoAnn Loeffelholz of Norman,
OK, John “Jack” (Ilona) Osieczanek of Cedarburg, WI, David (Shannon) Osieczanek
of Wilsonville, OR, and Steven (Joyce) Osieczanek of Plymouth, WI; Ten
grandchildren; Three great-grandchildren; Brother: Larry Bray of Elkhart Lake,
WI; and Sister-in-law: Dorothy (Don) Teesch of TN.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents; Husband: John;
Three brothers: Jimmy “Joe” (Margie) Bray, Gene (Faye) Bray, and Jack (Pat)
Bray; and Sister-in-law: Ellie (Win) Waters.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at
1:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth, WI. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 14 at the
Suchon Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.
Inurnment will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in
Clarks Mills, WI.
