George Newburg, age 79, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully
at his home on Friday, March 2, 2018.
George was born in Berlin, Germany on December 2, 1938 to
the late Leo and Lisa Newburg. At the age of two, George moved to the United
States with his parents and resided in Sheboygan. He attended local schools and
graduated from North High School with the class of 1957. George was employed at
Max Factor Co. in Illinois where he worked in the shipping department.
George enjoyed swimming, trips to Florida, The Chicago Cubs,
and following the stock market. He was an avid skier, enjoying trips to
Colorado and Switzerland.
According to George’s wishes, private services will be held.
The family would like to thank Helen for being a dear friend
to George and to the nurses and caregivers at Embrace Care Management for their
years of service to him. They would also like to thank the staff at Sharon S.
Richardson Community Hospice for their compassion that was shown to George.
