CINCINNATI, OH (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers came up short in their effort to sweep the Reds after a 2-0 defeat in the series finale in Cincinnati on Monday night.
Julio Teheran got the loss after surrendering both runs on six hits over six-plus innings. Joey Wiemer had two of Milwaukee’s three hits in the game.
The Brew Crew still took three-of-four games in the series, but are now second in the NL Central at 32-28.
The Brewers are back in action Tuesday night as they welcome the Baltimore Orioles to American Family Field for game one of a three-game series. Freddy Peralta gets the start for Milwaukee. Kyle Gibson gets the call for Baltimore.
