June G. Neuhaus, 90, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday,
March 27, 2018 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
June was born June 23, 1927 in Colby to Otto and Frieda (Werner)
Koeppen. On December 27, 1952, June was
united in marriage to Harvey Neuhaus also of Colby. Harvey preceded her in death on December 2,
1987.
June was a worker all her life, from farming to housekeeping
to cooking to working in a hardware store.
She was a wonderful homemaker for herself and others. To the delight of her daughter’s childhood
friends, June worked as a funeral home assistant for a time. June also enjoyed puzzles, cooking, hanging
out with her daughter’s rescue dogs, especially taking naps with Roisie her
grand beagle, and watching Rachel Maddow, “Yes he is a moron!”. June always enjoyed her bi-weekly phone calls
with her baby sister Wynola. June had
the phone on speaker and their cackling laughter could be heard outside. She also looked forward to the monthly packet
of obituaries from Colby that Wynola would send her.
June is survived by her daughter with whom she resided with
for the past three years, Virginia Mueller and her sister Wynola Vrana of
Marshfield. She is further survived by
many nieces and nephews. June was
preceded in death by many relatives and friends, including Bob & Mary whom
she missed dearly.
Per June’s wishes no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Saving Paws
