Telatha
Savinski, age 93, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at
Sheboygan Health Services. She was born August 23, 1924 in Georgia to the late
Patrick and Sallie Tarte. On February 20, 1943 she was united in marriage to
the love of her life, Stanley Savinski. Telatha worked at a shipyard in Georgia
and upon moving to Sheboygan, she worked at Tinsel Co, Northern Plastics,
Wigwam Mills, and retired from Thomas Industries in 1980. Her favorite hobbies
were, fishing, bird watching and crocheting. She always enjoyed spending time
with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Telatha is
survived by her children: Gay Savinski and Diann (Dr. Oliver) Allen;
grandchildren: Carlton (Lynette) Hinz Jr, Christine (Ronald) Bogart, Curt Hinz,
Rebecca (fiancé Kyle Viercinski) Allen, and Katie (Chris) Everett;
great-grandchildren: Lizzy (John) Burson, Joshua (Sarah) Ostermann, Cody
Bogart, Andrea Bogart, Jacob (fiancée Kelly Muench) Hinz, Brooklyn Hinz, and
Bree Hinz; great-great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Miah, Alexe, Natalie, Callen,
Ava Lynn, and Forrest; brother, Robert Tarte; brother-in-law, Joe Reklaitis;
sister-in-law, Ann Zurheide. Further survived by many nieces, nephew, other
relatives and friends.
Telatha was
preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 6 siblings, and grandson Johnny
Josefsen Jr.
A graveside
service will take place on April 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery,
Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may
visit with the family from10:00 AM until the service in the CHAPEL at the
CEMETERY.
In lieu of
flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Telatha’s name.
The family
