Brenda
Roehre, age 56 of Plymouth, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly Friday, March
30, 2018.
She
was born on July 31, 1961 in Belmond, Iowa, daughter of the late Tom and JoAnn
Roehre.
She
attended Plymouth Public Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School
in 1979, where she lettered in tennis. Following graduation, Brenda pursued a
degree in Interior Design at University of Wisconsin- Stout.
Brenda’s
passion for Interior Design shaped her professional career. She worked at
Pranges/Yonkers in the draperies and furniture departments, Nemschoff in sales
and Dulmes Décor in the draperies department.
Brenda
could always be found gardening, playing a friendly game of Scrabble with
family, or sharing her mother’s passion for music by playing the piano and
never missing a Plymouth Band concert. Her love of classic movies, music and
her sharp memory made her unbeatable at Jeopardy and charades. Ever the
hostess, Brenda’s exquisite cooking and ability to entertain made all who
visited feel at home.
Brenda
was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Plymouth, were she explored her
faith through theology class. She exemplified a Christian woman with love and
compassion to all.
Survivors
include her sister: Sara (Hubert) Van de Pas, of Kiel and two nieces: Marike
Van de Pas of Plymouth and Lucienne (Michael) Fels of Sturgeon Bay. Aunts and
Uncles: Kathleen (Richard) Burich of Sheboygan, Nancy Roehre of Plymouth, Don
Birkholz of Elkhart Lake, Leslie (Sue) Steenblock of Mason City, Iowa, Leonard
(Lu Ann) Steenblock of Belmond, Iowa and Cathy Ibeling of Parkersburg, Iowa.
She is also survived by numerous cousins.
Brenda
was preceded in death by her parents Tom and JoAnn Roehre and her grandparents.
A
Memorial Mass will be held on Monday evening (April 9, 2018) at 5:00 P.M. at
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Philip Reifenberg,
Pastor of the Church will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment
will be in the Parish Cemetery next to her loving parents.
Visitation
will be held at the CHURCH on Monday (April 9) from 3:30 P.M. until the time of
services.
In
lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Brenda’s name.
